The Affymetrix service
Thank you to all of our customers and other users that supported the NASC Affymetrix service and NASCArrays for more than 10 years (2002-2013).
All plant affymetrix data in NASCArrays has always gone to GEO (as required by many journals) where it should be accessible to all for the foreseeable future.
CEL files from NASCArrays are also available at the Iplant cloud Data Store and are accessible using the DAVIS web interface. From here, the data can be accessed by all Iplant technologies.
An example of downloading NASCarray data files by experiment number would be:

A proper linking table is currently being prepared but for now a simple index by experiment number is available (here)
Some analysis hints
- We recommend R/Bioconductor - free analysis software - for most users on a budget. br> We can help you get started with training documents and advice on request (although there is plenty on line already).
- NASC also uses and recommends the commercial analysis package: Partek
- We have a brief Bioconductor oligo() run-through available for users of Ara-Gene-ST chips.
- We can still get involved in analysis of your data (on a collaboration basis) as many NASC staff are trained in Partek and Bioconductor.
